COTTAGE by The Straits People Cafe (TSP Coffee)

Pleasant experience during weekday lunchtime . Ambience was cosy and food was awesome . Highly recommend to visit !

My god… I haven’t got the words…Less than a week ago I lifted the warm, soupy, spoon of mash potato into my mouth for the first time. The creamy mash topped with perfectly-seasoned gravy caused me to shed tears—I thought I saw Jesus. Bright light cast onto the inviting plate of mash, gravy glistening, wafts of buttery mashed potato caressed my nose. I’m not exaggerating, the people running Cottage are doing God’s work.The egg and cheese melt changed my life forever. The lightly toasted bread juxtaposed the airy, fluffy scrambled eggs and homey cheese. I devoured that sandwich, a moan escaping my lips with every bite. Lord give me strength.Other than that, I’ve only tried the egg & pancakes, chicken & mash, and apple crumble. But they were enough to turn me. There is not a night that passes without me dreaming of this place. I drool reminiscing of the food.The people running Cottage are so kind one might think they were angels sent from up above.The ambience and prices are incredible, especially for the quality of food served. Hearty, filling, cosy, salivating, scrumptdelicious, tear-provoking, toe-gripping, eye-rolling, stomach growling yummy in my tummy food. It really does feel like heaven at Cottage.I’ve always been picky with food and struggled with an eating disorder. But I think Cottage single-handedly solved my anorexia.This is a 100 per cent honest say real review. On God.

Nice place for friends to get together, chit chat on a warm Saturday noon. Love the environment because it was very relaxing and calm.Ordered the sweet potato latte which was an interesting blend of sweet potato and milk. Love it.Moving on to the grilled cheese and tomato soup which was just the right about of creamy, tastes like what I make at home. The sour in the tomato blends so well with the cream.Didn't like the bread pudding so much, very normal and not worth mentioning.Glad I found this place because it's really in the middle of nowhere in between houses and houses.

Love the friendly service and welcoming environment. Good selection of dishes and we love sourdough bread. Tomato soups was great too. I had chicken sandwich- very tender and just right. Will come and try other dishes.

Brought my sister and my friend, and they both loved the food especially the spicy chicken fusilli.Ofcourse we had mushroom bacon omelette,THE sandwich and coffees . Cozy ambience and lovely staff.. I hope we can try everything in one meal but we will save the rest for next visit .

Their Mushroom Melt and Egg and Cheese sandwiches were amazing, I loved the Flat White, but the main star of the show had to be the Bread Pudding. I absolutely adore Bread Pudding and this was the best Bread Pudding I've ever had. We even bought 2 more just for takeaway I will definitely be coming down again just for the Bread Pudding

I ordered their chicken and greens along with an egg and cheese sandwich via Foodpanda. All items arrived well packed and tasted delicious! Food is value for money and seasoned well. Happy I discovered this cafe and I may make a trip down to the cafe for a meal next time.
